Kenway Composites specializes in custom composite manufacturing and field service. History

Founded in 1947 Kenway Composites is built on a foundation of innovation. The company was an early convert to fiberglass materials and started applying its composites expertise to more demanding corrosion applications for Heavy Industrial customers. Over the decades, Kenway has remained at the forefront of composites manufacturing, specializing in the design, engineering, manufacturing and installation of open-molded, filament wound and vacuum infused composites structures.

Kenway’s industrial manufacturing expertise focuses on five primary markets: Heavy Industry, Highway Infrastructure, Waterfront Infrastructure, Government & Military and Specialty Products applications. What links the company’s various business lines is technologically advanced manufacturing techniques, products manufactured for exacting service applications and the highest quality assurance procedures and processes.

In March 2017 Kenway Composites was acquired by Creative Pultrusions, Inc., which is a subsidiary of Hill & Smith Holdings PLC. This international PLC Group maintains leading positions in the design, manufacturing and supply of infrastructure and utility products as well as galvanizing services. The group’s success is driven by a strategy of innovation, product development and international expansion, alongside a highly entrepreneurial management culture. Present day

With in-house design and testing capabilities and a network of composite-specialist partners, the company can analyze applications with sophisticated Finite Element Analysis, apply an extensive library of physical properties testing, and then optimize a structure based on strength, durability and longevity and cost.

Kenway Composites represents the Augusta Molding Division of CCG.
