Trident Company History

Trident Industries was founded in the Chicago, Illinois, area in 2007 to offer utilities a lighter weight and more aesthetically pleasing alternative to wood poles. When a utility needed an unguyed pole, Trident found its true calling. The company soon developed their trademark multi-layer TridentStrong™ utility pole. This design imparts unparalleled strength, flexibility and resilience for self-supporting or partially guyed applications. With manufacturing and fabrication facilities in Texas and Missouri, TridentStrong poles are almost always available on-demand, in various profiles and in 11" to 17" diameters. The most common installation configuration is staggering Trident composite poles between wood poles, adding protection against cascading failures if a wood pole comes down in a weather event or accident.

Present Day

Today, there are tens of thousands of Trident Industries multi-layer poles in service with major utility providers across the United States.
