FRP Elbows & Risers
United Fiberglass™ Zero Burn-Through Fiberglass Elbows
United Fiberglass Elbows and Risers provide the flexibility to complete conduit and pipe systems as needed and without limitations. Whether facilitating complex, sweep turn runs or allowing a system to transition from underground to above ground environments, these critical components can help you get the job done.
“Engineered to have a smooth, defect-free inner surface with a low-coefficient of friction that keeps cables from burning-through and damaging the cable or welding to the inside of the FRP conduit.”
United Fiberglass Reinforced Polymer (FRP) elbows and risers are installed in multiple applications where there is a need to change the direction of an electric cable or telecommunication fiber run. Our RTRC Elbows are particularly useful for data centers, electric utilities, telecommunications or any other application with risk of cable burn -through. Our RTRC Fiberglass Elbows are ideal because they are engineered to have a hard, smooth and defect-free inner surface with a low coefficient of friction that keeps cables from burning-through the elbows damaging the cable and melting or welding to the inside of the conduit. Our systems eliminated the risk of costly repairs and project delays. Fiberglass Elbows are also extremely lightweight and easy to install.
