Enduro® FRP LAUNDER TROUGHS
Engineered for high loads and corrosion resistance, Fiber Reinforced Polymer (FRP) launder troughs give operators a superior, low maintenance structure to regulate and move fluids efficiently through treatment processes. Troughs are custom-designed by Creative Composites Group (CCG) for round or rectangular tanks, allowing you to single-source your entire clarifier system.
Fiberglass Water Troughs Deliver Outstanding Strength & Corrosion Resistance
Our composite troughs are built with laminated layers of 24-ounce woven roving throughout, making them 50% stronger than conventional 1/4” units. Its glass fiber reinforcing content and alignment produces outstanding rigidity and the ability to support higher loads with minimal deflection. Designs also include stiffening flanges, spacer rods and slip join or flanged connections.
Its laminate construction can include embedded steel or FRP angles at the sides or bottom for increased lateral stability, in addition to the internal core of end-grain balsa, foam or structural polypropylene panels. Material thickness is increased to 150% in critical areas such as flanges, closed blind ends, support connections and more for compliance with AWWA requirements.
