Structural FRP & GRP Engineering Capabilities

Our Team of Engineers Specializes in Structural Composites

CCG is your one stop resource for engineered FRP and GRP (Glass Reinforced Polymer), offering a full suite of services ranging from material specification to custom applications and systems to meet your structural needs to the scalable production of your OEM or commercial product needs. We combine our expertise in FRP and GRP composite materials with our culture of innovation to meet the most demanding performance requirements.

The FRP/GRP composite engineering and manufacturing capabilities across each of our North American sites enable CCG to engineer and design high-performance structures for a wide range of industries and OEM applications.

Glass Fiber-Reinforced Polymer Engineering & Design Services

We are an innovative engineering-based group, specializing in the design, analysis, prototyping and manufacture of parts and products made from fiber-reinforced polymer composites.

Our secret sauce is in our decades of experience developing FRP solutions for infrastructure for over five decades. Our group has a history of first-use for FRP in many applications where traditional materials like wood, steel, aluminum and concrete were failing to perform over time. We engineer both the reinforcement fibers as well as the unique resin formulations to meet our customers' needs.

We engineer composites for several manufacturing techniques including:
    • Pultrusion Fiberglass Reinforcement Material is Impregnated with Resin and Cured within a Heated Die to Form Solid Profiles with Consistent Cross-Sections
    • Vacuum Infusion/Molding — Dry Fibers are Compacted and Impregnated with Resin Using a Vacuum and Mold
    • Filament Winding — Continuous Strands of Resin-Saturated Fiber Reinforcements are Applied to a Rotating Mold
    • Continuous Lamination — Fiber Reinforcements are Drenched with Resin and Guided Through a Roll Forming Conveyor to Control Thickness and Resin Amounts
    • Hand Layup — Reinforcement Fibers are Placed in an Open Mold. Afterward, Resin is Poured Over the Fibers. The Composite Material is Then Allowed to Cure While Exposed to Air

CCG is a vertically integrated provider of turnkey solutions through our in-house design and engineering, quality testing and manufacturing.
